The Friends of Our Lady of Tintern is an ecumenical group who recognise Tintern Abbey as a living pilgrimage site and not just an historic ruin. We arrange an annual Ecumenical Service of Sung Vespers and were instrumental in commissioning the carved stone statue of Our Lady of Tintern which is in the Abbey Church. Allied to which, we manage and seek to enhance the Marian Way, a circular pilgrimage walk to and from Tintern Abbey.
